Cingari Family Markets

Brookfield, Connecticut

In 1929, Salvatore Cingari transformed food into a family affair. Purchasing an old school bus, filling it with fresh produce, and launching door-to-door deliveries in Stamford, CT.

Rooted in a reverence for bygone eras, the ethos around our rebranding centers on revitalizing tradition rather than chasing novelty, drawing inspiration from the everlasting allure of European markets. Driven by an artisanal touch and a deep passion for ethically-sourced foods, these markets have been making fresh, seasonal foods of excellent quality accessible for generations.

We translate this concept through hand-written labels and signs, study of artisanal printing techniques for an analog feel, timeless use of stamps, seals and marks, as well as typography inspired by artisan storefront signage and packaging.

Fast forward almost a century, and the Cingari Family ShopRite has blossomed into a network of 12 locations across Connecticut, upholding its dedication to providing fresh, locally-sourced goods and exceptional customer service.
