Casa Juani
Boulder, Colorado
Casa Juani is the first independent restaurant from married chefs Eduardo Valle Lobo and Kelly Jeun, inspired by the enduring legacy of Eduardo’s mother, Juanita. Working across strategy, messaging, and brand identity, we positioned the restaurant around the values at the heart of Spanish hospitality: family, generosity, and craftsmanship, establishing Juanita’s story as the emotional foundation of the brand and Eduardo and Kelly’s first venture together as its natural next chapter. That foundation, combined with the cultural affinities shared between Spain and Boulder, shaped an authentic expression of Spanish hospitality that feels entirely at home on Pearl Street.
The identity brings that perspective to life through the warmth, color, and everyday rituals that defined Juanita’s kitchen. Expressive typography, hand-drawn botanical illustrations, decorative framing, and a rich Mediterranean palette create a visual language that feels collected over time rather than composed all at once, balancing refinement with generosity.
The result is a restaurant where Spanish hospitality feels lived rather than performed, translating one family’s story into a place that invites everyone to the table.
